Fast Metabolism Diet - Round 2 Day 27 and Day 28(W4) - P3

I tried following the phase 3 diet plan, probably not very accurate as I was busy packing for the trip.

At the end of second round I did weigh in 138 pounds, which is a overall loss of 8 pounds. I didn't lose any more weight as I did in phase 1, but I was able to retain the weight loss and inches did go down.

At the marriage many people did note that I have lost weight and many people did compliment me on that.

I will be starting the round 3 of the diet starting Monday January 2nd. Planning to log the process and use the old blogs as my reference for next round. 

Fast Metabolism Diet - Round 2 Day 26(W4) - P3

This marks the last week of round 2, cannot even believe that I am already through 2 rounds. I really love this way of eating, not that anything has got any easier for me in terms of food prep and dreaded Phase2; but how it makes me feel at the end of the day. I feel lighter, tighter and when I exercise I feel I have more energy and endurance. I have not lost crazy amount of weight(much to claim of lose 20 pounds in 28 days), but I have lost some and I am ready to celebrate and acknowledge that!!

Breakfast
Oatmeal + coconut+ cashews + baby carrots

Snack 1
Almond milk Golden milk

Lunch
Cauliflower + Sweet potato + chickpea backed in olive oil

Snack 2
Not Hungry

Dinner

Exercise 
T25 stretch

Additional Notes -
With this diet I have learned a lot about how our body reacts to what kind of food you eat. I am amazed at the way our body feels when we eat FAT. I feel so much more satiated. I feel I could skip snacks because I was so full. It makes one happier too!!

Fast Metabolism Diet - Round 2 Day 25(W4) - P2

Snack 1
3 egg whites + cucumber + lemon water(2 limes)

Breakfast
I didn't eat breakfast. Didn't feel like eating anything.

Lunch
Brocolli and Tofu Stirfry

Snack 2
Cucumber

Dinner
Egg Whites + Celery Stick

Exercise 
I have realized that lifting weights before I sleep disturbs my sleep, I get muscle cramps when I sleep after that. 

Additional Notes -

Today was particularly difficult in terms of what I ate. At one point of time I was hoping it will soon be night and next day morning. I did eat some namkeen(spicy lentils) to curb the depressing feeling I was going through.

Fast Metabolism Diet - Round 2 Day 24(W4) - P2


Snack 1

3 egg whites + cucumber + lemon water(2 limes)

Breakfast
I didn't eat breakfast. Didn't feel like eating anything.

Lunch
Brocolli and Tofu Stirfry

Snack 2
3 egg whites + cucumber

Dinner
Zucchini soup. I just couldn't convince myself to eat Tofu or egg Whites.

Exercise 
Hammer Conditioning

Additional Notes -
I was about to skip my workout for the day, but just managed to squeeze some in after my daughter slept.

Fast Metabolism Diet - Round 2 Day 23(W4) - P1


Breakfast
Oatmeal + 2 egg whites + pomegranate
I am not even kidding when I say that I danced in joy when i got to know that i can eat Pomegranate on this diet.

Snack 1
Mango

Lunch
Yam + Broccoli+ Black Beans + Peaches

Snack 2
Apple

Dinner
Yam + Broccoli+ Black Beans

Fast Metabolism Diet - Round 2 Day 22(W4) - P1

Breakfast
Oatmeal + 2 egg whites + pomegranate

Snack 1
Apple

Lunch
Veg Curry + brown rice tortilla + Mango

Snack 2
Persimmon

Dinner
Thai soup (Veg) with rice noodles.
May be not 100% diet approved, but this is the best I could do for dinner yesterday.

Exercise 
None

Additional Notes -
If there is just one thing I have to say about this diet it would be that this diet is all about food prep. Ironically the kind of food which supports and ignites our metabolism is not very readily available. I am not so well prepared for this week in terms of food prep and I can see how easy it is to get caught up in life and eat whatever is there infront of you. But I am determined to finish strong so I am not throwing in the towel yet.

Fast Metabolism Diet - Round 2 Day 19, 20, 21(W3) - P3

As always I tried to keep things as much as possible according to the Diet plan, would say that i did stick to it ma be like 80% because I did have situations where I was not sure what to eat and make the best possible choice I could make.

I do not have the list of food I ate. would try to document it better in the next and last weekend of the second round of the diet !! I can't believe that I was able to do two round of it back to back. I will start the new round when I am back from vacation.
